Great place to relax and unwind. Good menu options! One of the very few coffee places (apart from franchises) open on a Sunday in downtown Peterborough

I visited Cork and Bean for the first time since it moved from Nata's today. I have to admit that I got scammed. I ordered a large americano and was told they'd bring it to me. Twenty minutes later, no coffee. I went down to check and they had completely forgotten about it. So I reordered, and explicitly asked for a large coffee. It comes up to me a few minutes later in what is undeniably a small-size cup. I went to the bar and said "Sorry to bother you, but is this a large or a small?" Straight to my face they told me it was a large, and that their cups are just that size. Sure the ambience is nice, but if a business is willing to lie to your face about something like that, get your coffee elsewhere.

Came here to study and it was a great little spot in town. There were a handful of tables with garbage on them when we came and sat down and took a bit for the server to clean it up but otherwise clean.
It was nice and quiet to do work but the music at times was pretty loud, also had frequent Spotify commercials for Spotify Premium which got annoying... it is weird to me that a business wouldn't just pay for the service. -

I loved natas,
But I also like cork and bean, it is missing many of the feelings that natas use to provide, but if you consider the cork and bean as a coffee shop that is not in connection with natas, it is a nice coffee shop.
There is a good friendly atmosphere surrounding its industrial appearance. I would however, not to go there to work on any projects but to rather hang out with friends. The coffee shop is built in such a way so that plugs are scarce, and to be perfectly honest I don't even know if there is wifi.
The only reason that I am giving Cork and bean the 3 star rating is because of the competition of Peterborough. Peterborough has lots of coffee shops which will give you more bang for you buck, and a place to stay and work on projects. The popularity of the cork and bean works in such a way that it becomes so noisy that it is hard to even have a conversation with the person sitting next to you.
All in all its a good coffee shop but not the one for me. -

This place is cool to hang out at morning or later in the day. I usually go get a coffee. I really enjoy the coffee they have. Tastewise it's one of the better spots in the city for sure. I also usually grab these blue berry almost cake like things, just to have something small in the morning. They are incredible. I usually hate pre-made food, but I tried a ham and provolone, and I must say, it was amazing. I also really like the atmosphere of the place.
